Design. Print. Fly. Grow.
MagFlo Labs is a Florida-based engineering and manufacturing studio. We specialize in high‑precision additive manufacturing, 3D product design, custom model printing & finishing, professional drone services for aerial capture and inspection, and custom hydroponic garden systems. Our capabilities also include manufacturing replacement parts and custom frames for specialized drone builds. Our mission is to turn concepts into reliable, functional results — from prototypes to production runs, field operations, and sustainable growing solutions.
Our Work
Additive Manufacturing
Examples of high‑precision 3D printing projects, from prototypes to functional parts.
3D Product Design
Case studies showing how concepts are developed into manufacturable designs.
Model Printing & Painting
Showcase of custom models, miniatures, and finished pieces with professional painting.
Drone Services
Demonstrations of aerial photography, mapping, and inspection projects. We also manufacture replacement parts and custom frames for specialized drone builds.
Services
Additive Manufacturing
High‑precision FDM and resin printing for prototypes, jigs/fixtures, and functional end‑use parts.
Capabilities
- FDM Materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PPS, plus carbon fiber– and glass fiber–reinforced variants. Flexible and support materials such as TPU, PVA, and BVOH are also supported.
- Resin Materials: We can print with a wide range of UV-curable resins, including standard, high-detail, tough, flexible, castable, and biocompatible resins. This supports applications from prototypes and miniatures to durable functional parts, dental models, and specialty uses.
- Large‑format printing and multi‑part assemblies
- Strength‑oriented infill, inserts, and threaded features
Typical deliverables
- Printed parts — deburred, test‑fit, and clearly labeled
- Finishing options — surface prep, primer, color, and clear coat as requested
- Installed hardware — heat‑set inserts, threaded features, and bushings where specified
- Assembly notes and maintenance guidance
- QC snapshot — dimensional spot‑checks against drawings (± tolerance targets)
- Life‑size character models — multi‑part assemblies for full‑scale superheroes, anime, or gaming figures
- Car models & components — detailed scale car models and custom aftermarket parts
- Pack‑out for shipping and optional spare parts set
3D Product Design
Parametric CAD for manufacturable parts and assemblies — from napkin sketch to production-ready models. We design for printability, strength, serviceability, and clean hand‑offs.
Capabilities
- Parametric modeling in Fusion 360 (parts & multi‑body assemblies)
- DFAM: split/join strategy, hidden seams, orientation, supports, and tolerances
- Fasteners & hardware: inserts, threads, bosses, ribs, and snap‑fits
- Reverse engineering from existing parts, sketches, photos, or measurements
- Mechanisms & fit: press‑/slip‑fit targets, alignment, and service access
- Surface refinement: fillets/chamfers, ergonomic shaping, and branding marks
Inputs we accept
- Sketches, reference photos, rough dimensions
- Files: STL/OBJ (remodel), STEP/IGES (direct), DXF/DWG
- Physical parts for measurement (calipers) or guidance
Typical deliverables
- Manufacturing handoff pack (ZIP): native CAD, STEP, STL
- Dimensioned drawings (PDF) with tolerances and callouts
- Bill of Materials (CSV) and hardware list
- Exploded views, assembly instructions, and key renders
- Print plan: orientation, split/join map, and recommended materials
- Revision log summarizing design changes and decisions
Process
- Brief & requirements → confirm constraints, timeline, and success criteria
- Concept & rough CAD → share screenshots for direction
- Detailing & DFAM → add hardware, tolerances, and print plan
- Review & iterate → two revision loops included by default
- Final hand‑off → files, drawings, and (optional) pilot print
Model Printing & Painting
Custom display models and miniatures with professional finishing for a polished, durable result.
Capabilities
- Hidden seam planning and structural joining
- Surface prep, filler/primer, sanding workflow
- Airbrush and hand‑paint detailing; protective clear coats
Typical deliverables
- Assembled and finished model (packed for transport)
- Care guide and touch‑up recommendations
- Kits: unassembled model kits with detailed assembly guides
- Paint scheme sheet and color references
- Optional touch‑up kit (small vials) and mounting/stand hardware
Drone Services
Aerial capture and inspection with the option to fabricate custom parts and frames for specialized builds.
Capabilities
- Dual-camera system: 48MP wide (24mm f/1.7) and 48MP 3x medium-tele (70mm f/2.8)
- Video capture up to 4K/100fps; HDR 4K/60fps; 10-bit D-Log M & HLG color
- Still photography at up to 48MP RAW/JPEG
- Flight endurance of 1+ hours (with 3-battery rotation); range up to 20km with O4 transmission
- Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance with APAS 5.0 for safe operation
- Automated features: waypoint flight, MasterShots, FocusTrack, and return-to-home
- Custom support: we can design and print replacement parts or lightweight frames to support field work
Typical deliverables
